HH Partners’ team of experts has been strengthened in recent months with the addition of two new associate lawyers, Jatro Pihlavamäki and Sonja Laamanen.
We are particularly pleased to welcome Jatro back to our team. He already worked as a trainee at HH Partners during his studies, and went on to gain experience as an associate trainee at another large business law firm. After graduation, Jatro rejoined our team as an associate lawyer and now advises our clients, in particular on financial regulation, corporate and contract law.
Sonja, on the other hand, strengthens our firm’s IP, data protection and technology expertise. Before joining our team, Sonja worked as a lawyer on IP and data protection matters at another large Finnish business law firm. Sonja has also worked as an in-house lawyer at Gramex, a copyright organisation of recorded music.
We asked our new colleagues how they have been enjoying their new roles.

I’ve had the opportunity to assist our clients on a number of interesting projects and at the same time challenge my skills on a number of complex legal issues. Jatro: “It has been easy to get back into the team, as many of my colleagues and clients are already familiar to me. Of course, as an associate lawyer, my responsibility for the assignments has increased, but I like getting hands-on with the work and challenging myself!”
