The Finnish Centre for Open Systems and Solutions, COSS, hosted an event on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Tampere on September 8th. Held at Gofore Oy’s offices, the participants of the event consisted of approximately 30 decision-makers and professionals from both municipalities and companies.
One of the speakers at the seminar, HH Partners’ lawyer Henri Tanskanen, gave a presentation on the key principles of the new regulation from the point of view of the data controller. At the end of the seminar Jyrki Koskinen from Avaamo Konsultointi advised the participants on how to evaluate the GDPR readiness of their organizations.
